Not an afterthought, the starting point. The material determines the weight, the finish, the feel, and ultimately how the bath sits in a room and in a life.
Stone Composite
Stone composite is Volupto's primary material and for good reason. Hand-moulded and finished over two days by our artisans, every stone composite bath combines the visual depth of natural stone with the performance advantages of a material engineered for modern living.
Non-porous, lightweight at 100-150kg, and available in 35 colours from Pure White to Dark Grey Terrazzo - stone composite is the natural starting point for most projects. Wall profiles range from clean 20mm architectural edges to the commanding depth of a 40mm Natural Look profile, each inherent to the design and conceived as much for comfort as for beauty.
And whether the bath belongs inside a considered interior or beneath an open Australian sky, every stone composite model is fully UV-rated and weather-resistant - as at home on a sun-drenched terrace as it is within four walls.
Bellastone
Bellastone is a new generation of mineral composite bath with its own distinct identity. Gently textured, tactile, and deeply matt, its surface carries a warmth and quiet depth that is entirely its own.
Engineered from a patented mineral composite, every Bellastone bath is scratch-proof and impervious to staining - including bath oils, epsom salt and everything that accompanies a considered ritual bath. Non-porous by nature, it resists soap scum and limescale without sealing, treatment, or specialist cleaning products. Maintenance is effortless by design.
At 50–95kg, Bellastone weighs less than half of stone composite - making it the most installation-friendly bath in our range, suitable for upper floors, restricted access sites, and the most ambitious architectural projects. Available in 12 colours, fully UV-rated and as at home under open sky as within four walls.
For those seeking something beyond the bath itself, the DORIA Spa and KOLPA Spa introduce hydrotherapy to a mineral composite bath for the first time - a first in a category long defined by white acrylic.
Copper
Copper has held its place in bathware for centuries - and earned it. Naturally antibacterial and mould-resistant, copper will never corrode or rust. What it does instead is far more interesting: it lives - developing a patina that deepens with time, settling into a rich shade entirely your own. And because the finish is alive, it heals: scratches gradually soften and disappear into the character of the bath.
Handcrafted from food-grade 16-gauge copper, weighing just 65kg, and suitable for indoor and outdoor projects.
River Stone
Every river stone bath begins as a single boulder - shaped by water over millennia before it is ever touched by hand. Sourced from the mountains of Indonesia and hand-carved over six weeks, each one carries its own form, its own markings, its own story. No two are alike.
Raw, sculptural, and extraordinary as the centrepiece of a garden or outdoor living project.
Stone
Stone is where Volupto began. Quarried, crushed, refined and hand-moulded by our artisans, with two full days spent sanding every bath to its final finish - German oxides giving our stone its signature deep greys and blacks. It is a process we remain proud of.
Our stone baths are currently paused as we transition to a new production process. Every design remains available in stone composite, with the same profile, the same hand-finished surface, and the same capacity for indoor and outdoor installation - at a fraction of the weight.
Marble
Meticulously selected for its exquisite beauty and lifelong durability, our natural marble is transformed into functional masterpieces. Our artisans harness the stone’s organic veining and unique textures, ensuring that every freestanding marble basin is a one-of-a-kind statement of sophistication.
Every piece in our collection is a testament to the inherent elegance of natural stone.

Petrified Wood
Petrified wood is a fossil, a stone with preserved natural wooden texture. While it is not particularly rare, finding good quality petrified wood with interesting colour patterns is more difficult.
We carefully chose each piece one by one based on its size, shape, and colour. Each piece is unique as it has been created by nature and shaped by hands.
